July 14, 2026 City Council Meeting 

• NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 14, 2026 at 6 p.m., the Cypress City Council will hold a Public Hearing at 5275 Orange Avenue, Cypress CA in the Council Chambers to consider 1) a Resolution certifying an Environmental Impact Report, and approving Findings, a Statement of Overriding Considerations, and Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program, 2) a Resolution approving Vesting Tentative Tract Map No 19247, and 3) an ordinance approving a Development Agreement between the City of Cypress and Los Alamitos Race Course. The proposed project includes the subdivision of approximately 150 acres into 14 parcels located at the Los Alamitos Race Course at 4961 Katella Avenue, and SeaCoast Grace Church located at 5100 Cerritos Avenue, consistent with the Cypress Town Center and Commons Specific Plan. The Environmental Impact Report evaluates a future buildout scenario of up to 1,791 residential units, up to 440,000 square feet of commercial space, approximately 11 acres of additional public park space, the extension of Moody Street, and a new Vessels Circle/Moody Street intersection.  

March 24, 2026 City Council Meeting 

• NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on March 24, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., the Cypress City Council will hold a Public Hearing at 5275 Orange Avenue, Cypress, CA in the Council Chambers to consider Conditional Use Permit No. 2026-01, a request to permit the 943 square-foot expansion of an existing restaurant with alcohol service (Ichitaru Ramen) into an adjacent vacant tenant space, increasing the total floor area from 1,062 square feet to 2,005 square feet, located at 5362 Lincoln Avenue, Suites E and F, in the Commercial Mixed Use District of the Lincoln Avenue Specific Plan, and finding that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines.

February 23, 2026 City Council Meeting 

• NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on February 26, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., the Cypress City Council will hold a Public Hearing at 5275 Orange Avenue, Cypress, CA in the Council Chambers to consider Conditional Use Permit No. 2025-03-a request to permit an 869 square-foot expansion of an existing convenience store (OC Bottle Shop) and related site improvements, located at 5362 Lincoln Avenue in the Downtown District of the Lincoln Avenue Specific Plan and finding that the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines.

• NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 10, 2025 at 6:00 p..m., the City of Cypress City Council will hold a Public Hearing at 5275 Orange Avenue, Cypress, CA in the Council Chambers to consider the adoption of the latest 2025 California model Building, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Codes with Amendments for the City of Cypress, effective January 1, 2026.

• NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on September 8, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, the City of Cypress City Council will hold a Public Hearing at 5275 Orange Avenue, Cypress, CA in the Council Chambers to consider the establishment of Preferential Residential Parking Permit District E on Surrey Drive, Lexington Street, Livermore Place, Manchester Place, Dorset Drive, Somerset Lane, Sussex Circle, Dover Circle, and Devon Circle.
