Stay Nourished

  • Cypress Senior Center Lunch Program – As an alternative to the suspended Congregate Lunch program, the Senior Center will provide frozen meals that participants can pick up and take home. The drive-thru pick up scheduled will take place Monday – Friday from 11:00am – 12:00pm at the north end of the building on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Commodities – Second Wednesday of the month from 9:00 – 10:30am or until gone, the Cypress Senior Center will be distributing monthly commodities curbside on the west side of the building. These shelf stable items provided by Second Harvest Food Bank are packed in bags by recreation staff, following the suggested health and safety guidelines.

  • Home Delivered Meals – Will continue to be delivered on a normal schedule. As the situation may change, please call the Senior Center at 714-229-2005 for additional information.

If you participated in classes prior to the facility closure, you can reach out to your instructor or email to be put in contact with your instructor for virtual classes.

  • Walk/run around your neighborhood and say hi (from a distance) to all of your neighbors who are getting outside, too

  • Visit a local park

  • Walk your dog, take a bike ride and get your Vitamin D

  • Go for a drive
