Cerritos Avenue Bike Path Project
Recycling on City Streets
The California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle) encourages the use of Rubberized Asphalt Concrete on street projects to recycle California waste tires.
The City recently completed a street resurfacing project which included Cerritos Avenue and various residential streets. This project was partially funded through CalRecycle and used over 15,000 used tires, diverting waste tires from landfills and conserving our natural resources.
