2025 Commission Recruitment is Now Closed

The 2025 Commission recruitment application period is now closed.  All qualified individuals who submitted an application before the submission deadline have been sent an email with information regarding an interview with the City Council. 

The next annual recruitment will take place beginning April 6, 2026.  Thank you to all residents interested in serving the Cypress community.   

The following five vacancies will be filled as part of the 2026 recruitment:

Recreation and Community Services Commission

•  Two vacancies – July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2030 (four years)

Senior Citizens Commission

• Two vacancies – July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2030 (four years)

Traffic Commission

• One vacancy – July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2030 (four years)
