Battery Recycling

Valley Vista offers a FREE curbside battery recycling program for Cypress residents.

How it works:

1. Place batteries inside a clear plastic bag.
2. Seal the bag.
3. Place the bag on top of your blue recycling cart on your scheduled collection day.

Sharps Disposal

Valley Vista provides FREE Sharps Mail-Back Kits for Cypress residents.

To request a kit, call (714) 380-5450.

Special Services

• Pull-out service is available at no additional charge for customers with disabilities (proof of disability required).
• Christmas tree recycling is available annually from December 26 through the third Saturday in January.

SB 1383 Requirements for Landscapers

Landscape companies are reminded that it is no longer legal to dispose of green waste in trash containers or landfills.  Landscape companies are required to comply with SB 1383 requirements. For more information, click here to download our informational flyer.
