Cypress University Returns with Next Up! Business Growth Program

Are you ready to grow or expand your business? The City of Cypress is thrilled to announce the return of Cypress University with the Next Up! Business Growth Program, an incredible opportunity designed for local businesses that have a plan to expand, increase capacity, or scale operations.

Through this exciting program, participating businesses will receive:

• Expert Business Training – Two in-person and four virtual sessions led by industry professionals.
• One-on-One Coaching – Personalized guidance from the Small Business Development Center to help navigate business challenges.
• $10,000 Growth Grant – Funding available upon successful completion of the program to support business expansion.

With limited spots available, early planning is important. The application period runs from April 7 – April 27, and training begins on May 20.

Eligibility:

To qualify, businesses must have operated from a physical commercial location in Cypress for at least one year and submit a growth or expansion plan, which will be reviewed by the City to determine eligibility.
