This past Saturday, Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva hosted the firs annual 65th Assembly District Recognition Awards and honored Mayor Peat with the Gentleman of the Year award. It was wonderful to come together and celebrate individuals who have provided services and exemplified characteristics valued in the community. The event was hosted in the City of Buena Park - City Hall at The Plaza in the Elher's Event Center to honor local businesses, nonprofits, veterans, gentleman, women, and a holocaust survivor.

The fantastic work done by all of the recipients this past year, was a true display of perseverance and commitment to the community.
