The next election will be a General Municipal Election held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 to elect three members of the City Council. A measure will also be on the ballot regarding a zone change for the Cypress School District Maintenance Site. The polls will be open for voting from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The last day to register to vote for the November election is October 22, 2018. Registration forms are available at City Hall or you may register online through the Orange County Registrar of Voters at https://www.ocvote.com/registration/register-to-vote/. You must re-register if you have moved, changed your name and/or changed your political party affiliation.

The nomination period for candidates running for the three available seats on the City Council is July 16 – August 10, 2018. City Council terms are for a period of four years.

Nomination papers and election information may be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office. Please contact the City Clerk’s Office at (714) 229-6683 to schedule an appointment.
